If you carefully remove the base, you may find a plug you can remove. Carefully remove that plug and refill the globe with DISTILLED water.

you could try removing the battery then charging it without the battery then try to start it cause it worked with my psp hope it will help

Maybe the problem is condensation. The globe gets all fogged up and the snow pellets start sticking to the plastic and it just looks like a mess. Temperature might be less of a concern where you are, but it is something to consider. I had briefly thought of putting something like a hair dryer in line with the main fan to keep the inside temperature up. But it turned out to be more of a problem than I wanted to deal with. If you have all the pieces, it can be repaired. the tricky part is getting it refilled and sealed. If the globe is glass, you can use any cyanoacrylate glue (crazy or super). If it is synthetic, it is important to get an adhesive that is compatible with the material of the globe.

it sound as though you have cracked the main board inside or torn the rubber pad underneath the key. does it still work otherwise?

Once you have the box connected with the usb cable to the computer, you have to tilt it towards connect to pc. You might have to do this a couple of times the picture on the display should change to a usb cable. Now if you go to my computer you will see where it says pan digital. How much water do you think got into the tank? If the fuel door was closed it could not have been much. You need to have the tank drained to get all the water out, and then add a fuel dryer liquid to get any residual moisture out. After you son has done all of this, it should run fine and you should not have to replace the pump.
