Question about Jobri Hand Held Massagers

Jobri Dolphin 2 yrs old, starts, than intermitant, than stops. Wait few minutes, starts up, does the same

Jobri Dolphin is about two years old. I used it very little the 1st year. During the last six months, I've used it nightly for about 15 minutes until it started to run intermitantly then quitting.

Hello xthus, I suggest first call Jobri LLC at 800-432-2225 ask for Michelle of quality control. If she can't replace the unit ask for any or all technical information. With this info repair is possible with my guidance. Let me know of the outcome. Good Luck!

I have a Brookstone dual node massager model # BST-007 SKU# 324640 E 201637. (2001) It is old but hasn't been used much and the other day it quit working. The Brookstone Store told me that they do...

I don't have a solution, but I have the same unit, and it works sometimes, if I keep hitting the start button. The lights flicker more and more like it will start and eventually it does. I use it on my practice, so a fix would be welcome.

I have an equalizer pro handheld massager eq700 and when using it it seems to have a short. I have to keep wiggling the cord by the base to make it work. How can I have it fixed?

I have been repairing the EQ-700 for a local chiropractor for 6 or so years. The unit is discontinued with no parts available so I have to fabricate or rebuild parts. A bill of $200.00 to repair one unit is not unusual so you really have to want this model

To mp3mastr:
I don't have a service manual, but I've owned and used these WP-20W's for 30 years or so and kept them running, so I'll bet I can help you if you'd care to email me at fredhowe@frontiernet.net
Tell me what's wrong or what you might need.

Can Homedics Therapist Select? Shiatsu Pillow with Heat be used under 220 V power? Thanks

If it is set up for 110 volts, you should not use it on 220. Most likely you will burn the motor out in a matter of minutes.

HOW LONG DO i RECHARGE FOR.

Did you let it fully charge before you started using it? Most companies will tell you with any electrical things you need to fully charge before using. To fully charge it can take any where from 4 to 24 hours. So place it on the charger for a full 24 hours then see how it works. Then if it still doesn't work it may be defected.
~~~Good Luck~~~
Instruction manual
Hi SJ, I don't think you need to worry too much about using the massager; you pretty much just plug it in and go from there (assuming you're in the US). Don't use it more than 20 minutes and don't use it while bathing. Additionally, should not use the massager on
  1. sensitive or inflamed skin
  2. varicose veins
  3. the front of your neck
  4. **** areas
  5. sleeping people
You can also check out their attachments and see what they're used for at their website: http://consumer.wahl.com/product.cfm?sid=13&ID=30. If you still would like the booklet, message me at jjones at thesexsite dot com and I'll scan it for you. Hope this helps, Johnathan
Need new nicad for AV 1002-CP
Unfortunatly they don't make the 1002 AV anymore so replacing the batteries is pretty much your only choice. Though the batteries in the AV 1002 aren't made to be user replaceable you can if you don't mind a little soldering.
The 1002 uses two Sub C (SC) size 1.2V 1300 mAh NiCd batteries. You can get the batteries from places like www.batteryspace.com. I got two 5000mAh Tenergy batteries from Amazon for $7.40 each; . Be sure to get batteries with tabs (don't try to solder directly to the batteries).
When you have the new batteries in hand, pull the three screws from the back of the 1002. Using a screwdriver carefully split the case (there are four plastic clips holding the back to the front). Pry the old batteries from the small patch of adhesive in the case front. Pull the two white plastic caps off the ends of the battery pack. Using a soldering iron, de-solder the positive (red) and negative (white) leads from the old batteries. Note, you'll actually be de-soldering the thyristor (?) at the end of the end of the negative lead from the battery tab.
Take the two new batteries and solder the positive tab of one to the negative tab of the other such that they can be folded together to make a cylindrical pack that looks like the one you're replacing.
Solder the Red positive lead to the free positive tab and the thyristor to the free negative tab of your new battery pack.
Wrap the whole thing in electrical tape, making sure the thyristor is in good contact with one of the batteries and that there is no exposed wire that could cause a short.
Put the two plastic caps on your new battery pack, place the pack in the case and re-assemble the case.
Not sure how long the new batteries will take to charge but give it at least 24 hrs to make sure.
If you're not handy with solder, it might be worth spending a little time surfing some of the DIY battery pack forums (there's actually quite a few) and there's probably several good videos out there as well.
This project sounds much worse than it is and it beats tossing an excellent $60 ******** in the dust bin. Good luck!
Holding question
First, select a wide massage area, and use the roller surface. Slowly movethe head of the massager over the massage area in big, wide circles. Then,for areas of soreness or stiffness, change the massager to the proper mode (Some massagers have two levels) . Push down on these massage areas for about 5 to 7 seconds for eachsore spot. Finish with the roller surface again, moving the head around theextended massage area in large, uniform circles.
The charging time is different between every product and product. Usually, the standard charging time is 5 hours (full charge). A full charge will give youabout 40 minutes of cordless use.
