Last week I took out a bad, old CD-RW drive and put a new one in.
Works great!
Bad news is my DVD drive was working fine before this new CD-RW install.
DVD will play through DVD Media Player Classic but not with RealPlayer or Windows Media. DVD's used to play just fine with other players, but now...
only Media Player Classic.
Sounds like a drive issue, but why would my DVD drivers be changed when I didnt mess with the DVD drive?

If the Drives are sharing the same cable and are IDE or ATA Drives then one needs to be set to Master and the other to Slave This is the Jumper settings options... maybe your Registry settings are affected by the drive change and someone with good technical knowledge of Registry needs to look there and establish why the programs have lost the Older drive...
