Yes, you need to set your camshaft end distributor timing to TDC. (top dead centre). now you start vehicle, and adjust your distributor timing to 10% after tdc, on the coast or 8% inland

Its a job for a mechanic!.
You will need trained help to pinpoint the problem (camshaft/valve gear) and the cause but anything of this degree is time and money. Its possible a good breakers yard maybe able to get you something off a similar model.

Hi, I strongly advise you go to your nearest service center, if one valve is not moving and the rest are, you have a real problem, to many options on what is wrong to list on here.P

Get the belt checked. It sounds like they may have put it on with the engine out of time

If your not sure then do a me 12th inlet and 15 exhaust this will cover most cooking engines but not some GT older models .Yes iam aware what the so called bar room mechanics say about my advice but so long as it has a gap then it will run .All old british leyland engines were around this figure but some ford GT engine had wide gaps and clattered but ?? and some renaults had gaps as small as 4th and 8 th but this honda comes underthe catagory of what we call in the trade cooking engines .IE to go to the shops in and the school run

Valve clearance with the cylinder head temperature less than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, is as follows:
Intake .007 - .009 inches
Exhaust .009 - .011 inches

depends on engine code, and single cam or twin cam. check your code. D16W4 sohc stage 1. 29nm stage 2 72nm. D16Y5. stage 1 20nm. 2. 49nm. 3.67nm . 4. 67nm. there are 2 other codes for sohc engines these are the same as D16W4. DOHC engine as follows B16A2 stage 1. 29nm. 2. 83nm. hope this helps, if you are ot sure give m the exact engine code and i can verify.
