Yep... the tv freezes more frequently every day!! the only solution at the moment is to switch off at the wall. But this also causes problems when recording another channel.. It will decide to only record 1m then cancel!

Yes - an identical problem. I guess it is a software/firmware programming issue. I am not aware of whether or not there is anyway of updating this. I have had my TV for almost a year, so I would expect the problem to be sorted by now, but, maybe I am expecting too much.

Same problem here - Totally locking up with the only solution being to switch it off at the wall.

Yes same problem for my mother - she bought an LG 32LT7 at Christmas and I live in Dublin and she lives in Belfast and every night she is on the phone to me trying to solve the problems which are a daily occurrance. I am exasperated to find now that all of you guys have already found the very same problem!! The solution about switching it off at the socket and back on again is just not good enough! I am going to consult with a solicitor about consumer rights about this matter

SOURCE: Television

the liquid from the cleaner dripped down to the switch it sounds like and the only way to fix this if its not to late is to pull out the Printed curcuit board and clean the switches and the pcb in the front of the set and get all the liquid cleaner out and off the board. now you wanna clean the board with something without lubercante like a tuner wash from chemtronics or something like that. I've told peeps a million times , when you clean off a crt face apply the cleaner or spray on the cleaning cloth directly first. Never ever spray on a picture tube face as this will happen eventually if you do.. Good Luck

SOURCE: Buzzing/humming noise that increases as you raise volume. So loud that you can not even watch tv

Hello snow1525,

You may have a torn speaker element. This is usually the cause of buzzing noise in the sound, also you may have a bad capacitor in your audio section. This is what I would suggest doing as a test open the front bottom panel of your TV and visually inspect the speakers for signs of ripping and or tearing in the speaker element. If the element or elements are torn it may be possible to repair it with rubber cement or rubber paste just coat the tear with the rubber cement to hole the torn edges together and allow it to dry for two days before testing the sound. If the speaker elements are not ripped then the problem may be a bad capacitor either in the audio section (power supply) or in the filter block (usually attached to the speakers to separate bass and treble signal to the speakers.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

To make it easy for you - you should have original remote.
Then through the menu look for channel set up then make sure you select cable or antenna then you do autosearch(sometimes called autoprogram).Unless the tuner is defective, you should be able to program withe the original remote.

The HD capabilities seem to have disappeared?

no idea on your exact problem yet but LG the manufacture of this unit had a recall on this model for several issues and they are paying for out of warranty repairs for certain problems you may want to call them and see if you can get some help from the manufacture.
