Problem with GE GSL25JFPBS Side by Side Refrigerator
we have had the refrigerator for about two years and we just now hooked the ice maker up. The light on the door for the filter is red. Do we need to change it?

Best Solution
Check for a pinched line between filter and icemaker first, then purge some water through the ice maker to make sure it flushes anything in the line out, and discard the water and the first couple pounds of cubes. If it remains red, replace the filter as it may be obstructed.
