Question about RCA D52W19 52" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

T.V. would take about an hour to warm up.

Took about an hour to warm up then would be fine for awhile then it would flicker if i turned it off then back on it would usually bring the pic back then i heard and smelt the snap from the back which i figure is the flyback from what i have read could that be the whole problem with the flickering and how long it takes to warm up?

I have a 32" RCA LCD tv , rlc3210 power input says

Is it hooked up with HDMI cable?

If so try unplugging the HDMI cable and re plugging the cable in, sometimes those cables work loose and if they are not tight, it will cause your screen to flicker. Happens to my TV once in awhile.

Polaroid 40 in lcd tv flickering when warmed up

If the set has several thousands of hours, the CCFL tubes are about due for replacement.

Before you commit to that expense though, check the condition of the capacitors on the inverter board(s). If they are showing any signs of stress failure, replace them and try that for awhile. If they begin to fail within a year again, the tubes should be replaced with capacitors. You want to use high Ripple Current types, not general purpose types.

My 32TV has green light but won't turn on, or takes an hour

You may have failing power supply module, that will be the first place to look, look for caps with leaking/bulging top.

BB screen is flickering on & off then turned black after in water

If your BlackBerry gets covered in water, act fast and rationally, and you may be able to save your device.
1. DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON
2. Pull out the battery.
3. Please your device and battery into a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb any moisture.
4. Please it in a warm, dry place where it can receive direct sunlight.
5. Be patient. It is recommended that you leave it in there for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours, put the battery back in and power on.

Static humming from speakers

I've had the same problem and I think I've solved the problem. I noticed that they were fine when I first turned them on. After a awhile the blue light would flicker and static would start. I figured there might be some connection so I unplugged my speakers, took off the thin rubber from bottom and removed the 3 small screws. I carefully pulled the circuit board down, spotted the led light and snipped it off. I put everything back together, double stick taped the rubber piece back on, plugged it back in and have been listening static free for hours. Yippee, no more room full of screaming babies (that's what static sounds like to me)! By the way, I'm no expert. I just have a very strong aversion to static.
Good luck,
Beth

doubtful this is a driver issue warm up is not needed for any monitor. this is a power board issue internal to the monitor capacitors or some issue on the main power board. let me kow what you will do. good luck.
