The subwoofer features Logitech's eight inch long-throw sub in a bass-reflex enclosure. The sub is capable of throwing out 110W RMS with frequencies down to 35 HZ to give you that deep bass for the earthshaking explosions. You must have problem in the product .the installation might have been not proper ... check it via a sound engineer

Subwoofer deconnects

I have no experience of wireless speakers but I think you should contact the seller, if the unit is still under warranty or perhaps the support section of the manufacturer's website.
Certainly do read the instrucion manual.

I am guessing but either the wireless signal is being lost (depends on the function of the blue light) or the subwoofer is malfunctioning after a few minutes and the built-in thermal or overload protection is switching it off. The thump sound could be it trying to switch on again and finding the fault is still present.

The remote just doesn't work

I had a similar problem, my speakers are only a month old, and the other day, all the buttons on the remote just stopped working except for the volume and power buttons.

I just pressed the reset button on the bottom of the speakers and it seems to of done the job, so maybe you could try that :)?
Hope this helps..

All of my logitech x-530 speakers seem to be connected ok, but only 2 of them and the subwoofer sound ok and the front the rear right and left do not work properly.

--Go to Start> Settings> Control Panel> Sound and audio devices. --In the new panel, click on the 'Advanced' button bottom right.
--Open the Speakers tab
--Use the down arrow under 'Speaker setup' to select the proper speaker configuration (probably 5.1 or 7.1)
--Click Apply then OK.

Adjusting the subwoofer volume seperately from speaker volume

You can't exactly set volume but definitely turn down the bass which lowers the sub's output. Thats all we can do i think.

Remote control for Z-680

I have 2 sets of speakers systems for the Logitech Z-680
Both sets included Subwoofer and 5 speakers.

Note: there is no controller on both just the speakers

I bought one set and the Controller went out.
Logitch sent me a new Z-680 system then the second controller went out but speakers work great.
1 system speakers were never used
2 system speakers used for about 4 yrs (speakers work great)

Also have 2 remotes (never used)

Both speaker systems are for sale
Remotes will sell seperatly or with systems

If in need of the subwoofer speakers must go along

Email me if interested

Buzzing in speakers of cinema surround

i have the same problem. haven't tried the fix yet, but someone recommend connecting the two pronged power cord to an adapter that switches it to a 3 pronged (adds the ground prong). i guess the adapters are less than a dollar and can be bought at most places.
