Hi,
As told if you have already put in the new keyboard and still the problem is there, it could be the problem with the motherboard connector. To pin point the problem , connect an external keyboard to the USB port of the laptop. iIf the same works good . The motherboard is the point of failure .

Thanks

There might be a hardware problem with your keyboard. You can run a quick diagnostics for the keyboard. You can access diagnostics by going to the advanced bood option.When you turn on the system as soon as you see the Dell logo keep tapping on F12, select diagnostics and pre boot system assessment will load. After running a quick diagnostics for the system it will give an option to select Custom test and select the test for keyboard . It will ask you to tap on the keys and if there's an error shows you have to replace the internal keyboard already.

Dell inspirion keyboard 1420 replaced new but not working

Not trying to insult your intelligence but are you sure you plugged the keyboard cable all the way and even into the slot and locked it in place. I have had issues where the contacts were not all the way seated in the slot and not fully locked in and the computer knew the keyboard but I had lost partial function. Below is the Dell diagnostics manual for running start up test on your laptop. If your installation is the original it should have a diagnostics partition on it. These steps will show you how to access and run. Just copy and paste the below in your internet browser address bar, hit enter, you can also print it to follow along when the laptop powers down. Good luck,, ParrotHead PC Repair

I have a problem with the keyboard on Dell C600 laptop. It seems like the left part of the keyboard is disabled. No respons on 1,2,q,w,a,s,z,x,Esc. I purchased a new keyboard on eBay, but it didn't fix the...

The C600 keyboard connector is a ribbon cable with a push down to connect block. When one side of the keyboard keys do not work it is usually because the pins in the keyboard socket do not make a good contact with the ribbon cable.

Remove the keyboard and visually inspect the pins in the connector.
If necessary you can prise them back into the correct position using a sewing needle or something similar to get behind the pins.

Make sure you discconect the power supply and battery before you attempt.

Dell inspiron tochpad only works by holding down key on keyboard

It is likey the connection for the touchpad has come loose. As this connector is under the keyboard it would make sense that putting pressure on the keyboard causes it to work. If you are comfortable with removing a few screws, refer to the service manual on Dell's website on how to remove the keyboard. You will then see a ribbon cable connected to a plastic mechanism that secures the cable to the connection on the motherboard. Simply slide the top of the plastic mechanism forward or back to release tension on the ribbon cable, make sure the cable is straight and all the way forward, then slide the mechanism back into place and you should be okay. If you are not comfortable with removing anything, any computer repair shop should be able to do this for you relatively quickly.

You can try reseating the keyboard connector. If that doesn’t work, the keyboard needs to be replaced. To reseat the keyboard connector, follow this link: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins5100/en/sm/keyboard.htm#1084976
Be sure to remove AC power and the Battery.

Red lamp light on

Good Day;

Most likely you have bad caps on the TV's power supply. The following will guide you in the correct direction to properly repair your TV. Good Luck, big IRISH:

1. Red status LED, self-diagnosis error 44, check for open F9A06 on the Power PCB part # 283P128050 on the Power PCB 2. Red lamp LED, self diagnosis error 34. Check for 5-volts DC at J-9 connector pin 1 and 2 on the Engine Driver PCB if missing replace the Power PCB part # 930B921002 3. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. This model is equipped with a keyboard lock feature, this can be mistaken as a no power condition. To unlock the keyboard press and hold the "menu" button on the front panel for 10 seconds 4. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Check for 3.2 volts DC at connector LE pin 3 and 4 on the Control PCB, if low suspect problems with the switches/buttons on the Control PCB part # 935D776001 5. LED stops blinking after 70 seconds of plug in but will not power on. Keyboard is not locked and key inputs at connector LE pin 3 and 4 check good. Suspect the E2P PCB part # 934C121001 6. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnect the USB connector from the card reader to the front from the Chassis, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds replace the Card Reader part # 299P271010. 7. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) Disconnecting the USB connector from the Card Reader did not help. Remove connector FC from the FMT PCB and plug the unit in, if the LED stops blinking after 70 seconds with FC removed suspect a problem on the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002), if the LED keeps blinking with connector FC removed suspect a problem on the DM PCB (part # 934C116002). 8. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) On the DM PCB (part # 934C116002) check C81A2, C81A3, C81B3 and C81B4 (1000 UFD, 16V, 105C), if any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C). See Service Tip VS-78A 9. (LED does not stop blinking after plug in) On the FMT PCB (part # 930B924002) check C8F19, C8F21, C8F22, and C8F27 (16V 1000 UFD 105C), if any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C) .
