You probably already solved your problem by now, or you probably have a different stereo, but in case you haven't let me tell you what I just did. you just have to reset you system, to do that you take off the front part and stick a pen in the reset hole. The reset hole is in the lower right corner.

JVC radio operation instructions for model kd-S34

JVC has the manuals on their support site: http://books.jvc.com/booklist.asp?Model=KD-S34 . The direct link to the installation guide is: http://books.jvc.com/Download/138327414/GET0518-002A.pdf . The operating instructions are here: http://books.jvc.com/Download/138327414/GET0518-001A.pdf . If you want to buy a printed copy, see http://store.jvc.com/product.asp?Model=KD-S34 . Note you will need a program like Adobe Reader to read the files.

I hope this helps.

Cant change time

Usually, there is a "disp" button that you press to see the time instead of the station. Try holding this button down until the display shows the time blinking. If this works, you can change the hour with the "<<" button and the minute with the ">>" button. If this did not work, and your unit displays the time while it is turned off, try the same thing with the unit off. Let me know if this helps :)

The Touch will not work with the KDPDR30. I spoke with JVC and their models that will operate the Touch are KDPDR40, KDAPD49, KDPDR45, KDPDR41 and KDG47 the last two have a cable required.
