How do l use my datatraveler 8gb

Once you plug it in, if it's empty, and you are using Windows, i would go to My Computer or Computer (it's different from xp to vista to 7).

it should appear there. Double click it to open it, and then either drag and drop files to it or copy and paste files to it.

if you know where the files are you want to save to the datatraveler, you can select them, then hold down control and press c, this copies the files, then go to your datatraveler, and hold control and press v, this pastes the files to the datatraveler.

A quick guide to the edit keys:

Control-C copies files to memory
Control-V Pastes files to disk (or datatraveler) from memory
Control-A selects everything in the current widow (making it easier to copy everything in a folder)

The original pictures are saved under your C-Drive and not under Easyshare.

2: Find the location of the camera and your pictures
3: Drag and drop from the camera to the computer

When I turn on power the screen remains blank,I cannot see what I'm about to photograph or when I take a picture or video I can't see it until its saved

Sounds like the LCD is faulty.
If the camera is OoW. 88,07 pounds repair.
The alternative could be a Trade up. Which is where you exchange your oold camera for a new camera for 25-330% cheaper than current market price.

Can't transfer photos from computer to digital frame

Copying pictures from EasyShare software:

1. Install EasyShare software (free download at www.kodak.com/go/sw)

2. Connect the USB cable.

3. On your computer, open EasyShare software. Select the pictures in My Collection and drag them into the Picture tray.

4. In the menu bar, select File and then Copy to the Kodak Drive letter.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

5. Select the frame source to which you are copying.

6. Select Best for Digital Picture Frame to reduce the resolution of the pictures you are copying. Full resolution is unnecessary and quickly fills up the frame's memory.

7. Click Copy. Pictures are copied to your frame.

8. Unplug the USB cable and on the frame check the pictures that were just copied.

Can you move one picture from one album to another?

I'm assuming you are talking about the Easyshare software and assuming that is the case, yes you can. Go into your album and select the picture you want. You just have to drag that picture to the left where your other albums are. Drag it to the one you want it in.

Download video from my camera

Hi i have the same problem. uninstall the easyshare software. (make sure you save your files somewhere else - drag and drop to my docs/ my pics) plug in your camera, sometimes have to do it twice for the pc to register, a window will come up asking you what you want to do, select download video, a wizard will take you through. the only trouble is that it saves as quicktime and other software does not find it when you browse. for eg. windows media encoder to make the file smaller, or windows media maker, does not see it. I am still working on solving that problem - at least until i find out how to make the easyshare software work. Good luck
