Not at all, CCleaner does a LOT of stuff, Nero only does some software and patches, personally I use CCleaner.

I have microsoft windows xp professional. i have promble to remove unwantd program by add / remove

Uninstalling/ removing a software can be a little difficult sometimes, but NOT impossible.
CCleaner is a small size and very useful utility for system maintenance. I have been using it for years and no problems at all.

So, first download CCleaner from the following link and install it and follow these steps.
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner

1. Open CCleaner
2. Click Tools, Select the software you want to uninstall, click it
3. Click Run uninstaller
Hopefully, this would remove the program.creativetech_1.jpg

Otherwise, go to 'program file' and manually delete the unwanted program and run CCleaner to remove its registry entries (Scan for issues).
Let me know if any further assistance is required

Whenever i try to open any of windows office application i am encountered with error no. oxco150002 THE APPLICATION FAILED TO INITIALIZE CLICK OK TO TERMINATE. i have tries reinstalling the application...

Hi Kanch, It sounds like there is a Registry conflict. Here is what I would do.
  • Uninstall the application in question
  • Download and install CCleaner (free) from Piriform
  • Run the cleaner to remove old un-needed temp files
  • Select the StartUp tab and look for any programs that you know you installed but no longer use or need, and disable them. Caution, do not disable any system files unless you absolutely know what they do and that you do not need them.
  • Run the Registry cleaner, when asked if you want to backup the registry, select YES, and save to a file you will remember just in case. I have used this program hundreds of time on many different system and it has never caused a problem, but you want to be safe, backup the Registry.
  • If asked about a particular file that it wants to clean, select "yes to all"
  • Reboot and reinstall the application
  • CCleaner link - http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner
If this helps resolve your issue, would you please rate the solution. If this does not help, please leave a comment giving me more information on the problem and I will try to help you further.

Is there a free microsoft registry cleaner for windows XP pro that will go through the process and complete the function without asking me at the end to purchase the software

YES.
CCleaner, this has a registry cleaner built in.
Its free and can clean your temp files, your registry, delete unwanted restore points, and clean up your start up folder, so you can stop unwanted programs starting when you boot up

Two questions: 1) What does a Registry Cleaner do? 2) Should one already be in my computer (Dell Inspiron 530S), so I don't need to add new software? Thanks much! John Jenstad San Diego

A registry cleaner searches your registry for errors. Often these are caused by system updates and removing programs without removing extensions. It's worth running one and NO, it does not come with your computer. I highly recommend Ccleaner. It has a general cleaner for web stuff as well as a registry cleaner. Not only is it awesome, it's FREE! I run Ccleaner every two weeks and the registry cleaner monthly.

Upon turning on my pcthere's a note saying "cannot find gphone.exe....what am i going to do to remove that notification?

Go to Filehippo.com, download and install a programme called Ccleaner.

Once done, Click on "Tools" then "Startup"

Delete everything off the startup menu except for virus checking and firewall software. Amongst those titles you delete should be one relating to gphone.

This will take all the programmes out of you startup menu, that you don't immediately need on startup.

You can then use the uninstall function to remove and gphone related software from you laptop is so desired. Finally run the cleaner to get loads of web gunk off you computer you didn't know was there.

Assuming you're absolutely delighted, google Ccleaner, go to the website and make a small donation. Its a brilliant programme.

Auto cad internal error problem GEDIT 3

Hi there.
Uninstall AutoCad again and download CCleaner from here >>>>

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Once downloaded use the cleaner to get rid of any temporary files that are in hidden folders on the computer then use the registry cleaner to remove any registry entries or unused file extensions.

You will see in the screen shot CCleaners registry tool, where is says scan for issues click on that, once it's completed click fix selected issues, it will ask you if you want to back up to the registry, click on yes and save, keep on scanning for issues until it says no issues found.
Restart the PC and then reinstall AutoCad, hopefully the problems will be solved.
Please post back with the results.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!
