Printer not printing from computer

We recently upgraded to a new computer. the drivers were downloaded onto new computer but printer still won't print from computer

I'm having the same problem mate. I recently upgraded to Windows 7 and was forced to download the updated drivers. But that didn't resolve the problem either. (Yes, I was having the problem before I upgraded).

Did you ever resolve this?

All of a sudden my D680 will not print from print command or quick print. IT works on my secondary Canon MP970 printer. I unplugged printer, rebooted computer moved the USB cable from the Canon printer...


Have you recently changed/upgraded you operating system, e.g. XP to Vista or Windows 7? If so, you snould go to canonusa.com and get the drivers for the new operating system. Even if you have not, I suggest at least downloading and reinstalling the driver from there instead of from the 8 year old disc. Other than this, you should call support at Canon and ask them how to do a "cold reset" or "restore factoy settings" on the printer.

Hooked printer up to newer computer which operates windows xp and printer will not print. Powers on fine. But when I add the printer to my system it won't print test page


You'll more than likely need to go to the manufacturers website to download the drivers for the Operating system you've migrated to...even if its the same you'll still need to download the printer driver onto your new computer

Have you upgraded any software recently? I suggest you go to Dell website, download & install new printer drivers. After all, teh printer just prints what the software tells it.

"Print to File" WTF is this?


put the hammer down and step away from the printer lol. The problem you are having is directly related to the computer not "seeing" or recognizing the the printer. Sure you installed the software and drivers probably not the right ones. With Vista you have to use Vista specific drivers.

The unfortunate thing is that after reviewing your make and model of product at the Konica Minolta global site there are no available Vista Drivers for down load. Check here for your self

This leave only 2 options - contact Konica Customr service and see if there are driver available by some other means ( althought they will prob tell you to download them) or Upgrade to a new printer.

Problem with printing from Mac to Canon Pixma MP520


Hello!
So far I can only see that this printer supports OX 10x4x -Not Leopard. If that´s the truth I don´t know -but in that case the printer sucks. Does any one know if Im right or wrong?

Hpdj1050c plotting problem


1. make sure you are using the correct print driver.
2.check that printing preferences are set correctly in said drivers.
3. if these suggestions don't work, then make sure your application settings are set correctly, and order the most recent firmware dimm you can find. this machine cannot be flashed and in order to upgrade the machine "BIOS", you must install a new firmware dimm onto the emod (electronics module). Can't print to 1410 after I upgraded to Leopard


You need to update your printer software. Download and install from this link;

Once it is installed I suggest that you open system preferences (found by clicking the apple in the top left) and go to print and fax and delete and readd the printer so it will pull from the most recent drivers.

Can't print using USB connection


Unplug printer and un install software. Delete printer in printers folder. Restart pc. Install software first and then connect printer. Also make sure your usb drivers is correct.
