If you would like to reverse an image--by reverse, I assume you mean flip horizontally--then you will need an image editor.
GIMP 2.0 is a powerful editor that you can get much more use from with t-shirt making. Download GIMP, select your image, right click and select flip horizontally.
Additionally, some operating systems will allow you to right click the image and select "flip horizontally" or "reverse".
If you are printing text only, you can create it using wordart in word and then use rotate or flip command to reverse the text. If you are printing a JPG with text, the easiest way will be to use photoshop to edit the image and add text if desired, then use the mirror utility, The picture and text get reversed and the transfer is printed in reverse to become "positive" when you iron it on the Tshirt.
I print reverse images (in Word) for t-shirt transfers by going into the printer properties. Select the "Main" tab and for Media Type select "T-shirt Transfers." I believe that it prints the mirror image by default.
Somewhere in printing preferences, in control panel, and printer properties, there's a selection for mirror image printing for t-shirt stencils and the like. You just need to turn off mirror image printing and it goes back to normal.
Yes, you need to "MIRROR" the image. Go to printer properties and select the ADVANCED TAB. Click on the MIRROR setting then print onto the transfer paper. The image should print out backwards like you are looking at it in a mirror. When you iron it onto a shirt, it will come out correct.
When you select Print and the Print window opens, select Preferences.
Click on the Advanced tab. Look for the "Mirror Image" option. It should be "Off". If you click on "Off" the drop down menu should appear to change it to "On". Click "OK" at the bottom. Then click "Print" on the Print window.
Don't forget to change it back when you are done. :-)
(Note: If the Mirror Image option is not on the Advanced tab, look on the Effects tab.)
Check the printer preferences for the "Mirror Image" option and un-check it - this is used for printing Iron-on transfers for T-Shirts.
I hope that solves your Problem, If so kindly accept it.
Hello I think I can help you. I Would not use T shirt transfer when you make up your print I would select poster print or any other form that does not automatically reverse the image. The reason your software is designed to do this is on the regular transfer paper your laying the image down on the shirt, so for it to come out right it has to be reversed. With the dark T shirt transfer paper your peeling off the backing and putting the image face up on the T Shirt.
When you select "Print" and get the print window to confirm....select "Preferences". On the Advanced or Effects tab, look for the "Mirror Image" menu item. Turn it Off. If you cannot find it, comment back.
(BTW, the Mirror Image option is normally used to print t-shirt transfers.)
