I reformatted my hardrive now my videocard does not work

Ok today i decided to reformat my hardrive because it was starting to really slow down and i got a new video card for christmas a MSI geforce fx 5700LE card. but now I can't get the moniter to work in that slot and im running on a crappy savage DDR card thats in my motherboard. I dont know how to set it up when I pop in the driver it doesnt show the installing part and its starting to give me a headache.

spare me those two worders like "it sucks to be you" I really dont need them right now. All i want is somone oh here right now with answers and dont leave the board because im gonna reply as fast as I can.
