I have the same shadowing problem on my ViewSonic VA903b monitor. IT wasn't always there. I've had it about 18 months now and it is becoming more prevalent.

I have a 24" flat panel LCD with the same problem. Major shadowing to the right of all words and objects on screen. Monitor is less than 6 months old. Who do I contact to get it fixed? Or will Dell replace it since it should still be under warranty?

Well i had the same problem. When I started to investigate I found out that my VGA cable was very old and had most probably came from an older monitor. The VGA i had, only had 4 pins in its medium pin row. So I got a new VGA cable and voila, the problem was solved. So try it with another VGA cable.

Check the connection into the monitor (solution posted under another question). I have an LCD Samsung SyncMaster and the shadowing was happening...the connection was loose.
