DEAD 12 MONTH OLD KATANYA PHONE

MY KATANYA 11 MONTH OLD PHONE JUST DIED. sPRINT TOLD ME TOO BAD SO SAD. i NEED TO GET MY PHOTOS AND TEL. NUMBERS OFF OF THIS PHONE. cAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE?

Chek all parts n chip r ok . Then put mbus cable and tk back up . And reboot firmware

The only option in this case is to have the phone repaired and retrieve the numbers by transferring it into your sim.

Take it back and get your money back as there is obviously a problem with that unit. Try a different brand.

My screen is totally white, even after I power down and take the battery out, but the screen on the outside of the phone is still working, motorola i760.


Hey guys, i'm sorry but i have some bad news :(
This black screen of death which you have all been experienceing has been a problem of many different phones and all of them have the same cause. It is a manufacturer defect in the phone which pretty much has screwed up the software inside. Sometimes it may take a while for this problem to be come apparent (such as in my case it took nearly a month). I have done hours of research, and there was only one solution. The phone needs to be replaced.
Sprint has told me that no customer will be charged for replacing the phone (insurance or not) because it is a manufacturer / software problem. the only difficulty is that without phone insurance, it may take a few weeks to get your new phone sent to you from Sprint. With insurance, you can just walk into a Service center and get ur phone replaced on the spot.
One major pain with this problem is that all phone numbers and data (except on the mini sd card) is erased or unreachable.
Sorry about the bad news, but i hope this helps everybody getting this same problem no matter what the phone.

Samsung instinct esn problems


ESN that sprint needs is the ESN DEC, it is an 18 digit number above a bar code under your battery directly on your phone. This is not to be confused with the HEX, which starts with an "A"

My son's Rumor phone screen is blank after the phone turns on.


If the LCD is white/and or garbled then "YES" this is a known issue.

First locate the Sprint Insignia (Label on the back of device) to check manufacturer date. You will notice two bar-codes one entitled ESN HEX. At the very bottom of the this bar-code is a combination of numbers and letters. The first two numbers are the manufacturer's date (Example: 801). The first number stands for the year and the second number signifies the month. The example above indicates January of 2008.

Most LG Rumor Series manufactured before April 2008 suffered with white/garbled screen. This is a problem with flex cable; simple fix.

Just visit your local Sprint Service Center for this specific repair. Regardless if you have insurance or not, this defect is still covered. Thanks.

Phone will not turn on Upstage Samsung


what i had to do is go to sprint and then told me that my battery litterally died. the wire or something got messed up, so they got me a new one with my insurance for my phone and now my new one is screwed up which is just perfect but yeah take it to sprint they will give you a new one

amazing that is what he the salesman would say but that is not true......maybe it was just bad luck that you got a faulty phone what you should do is take the phone to a mobile service center and have them reflash the phone for you but seeing that the warranty is still good just have the phone replaced for a new one
