Toner collecting containr of transfer unit

hi, i hope you can help. i have a sharp ar-c160 and it is giving me a service notice that the toner collecting container of transfer unit is full. now i have emptied the used toner container and the rest of the good stuff. but the error is not going away, i need to print bad! have proofs to get out. i have unpluged it to try and reset and nothing. any ideas?? please and thank you!

- thanks for the response, problem is, i have done all of the above. i just don't get it,i have done this in the pas and never had a problem now all the sudden it's not working! anything else you might have me try? thanks again

- ok, i'll check it out. service tech is taking forever to get here, been 3 days!!! so i'll fix it myself if i can figure it out. thanks again for your help.

Remove the toner bottle and look for a black sensor. Clean it. Clean out all the toner in the bottle and try copying on it.

- It could be the sensor needs to be replaced. I don't know of a calibration program for the toner sensor but it is possible that there could be one. You can also check on copytechnet.com. There are some Sharp certified technicians who can answer that question for y8ou as well. It's a free service to use and they strictly work with copiers.
