How to connect nintedo to plasma tv

Hi,things you will need,
  • Video game console
  • HDMI cable
  • Audio/visual cable.
  1. Plug in your video game console's power source.
  2. Connect one end of the game console's audio/visual cable into the corresponding slot on the console if you have an older game console. If you have a newer console, insert one end of an HDMI cable into your console's "HDMI OUT" port.

  3. Plug the red and white ends of the audio/visual cable into the corresponding red and white audio inputs located on the back of your Vizio plasma TV if you have an older game console. Plug the yellow cable into the yellow "Video In" input. Depending on which model of Vizio TV you have, the yellow input may be located either right next to the audio inputs or it could be located a few ports away.

  4. Plug an HDMI cable into one of your TV's "HDMI IN" ports, if you have a newer console.

  5. Turn on your video game console and your Vizio plasma TV. Press the "TV/VIDEO" button on your remote to cycle through the various inputs. You should eventually get to an input that's displaying your video game console's home screen.
I think that will do.

Have nice day.

My playstation will not show on the tv through my audio/visual cable. It has happened twice and i've noticed that each time was after it was hooked up to an HD tv.

Press and hold the on button. It will turn on, continue holding it, until you hear a single beep, then let go. This will reset the video settings, and should allow it to work through the AV cable

I have no TV output!

This will only work with a dvd player, PS3, XBOX 360, and other gaming consoles

You need:
- 3 AV Splitters (2 Female 1 Male sides cord)
- 1 Double sided Video and Audio Cables (Red, white, yellow cables)

Connect your consoles Video and Audio cables to the female sides of the splitters, next attach the Video and audio cables you bought to the splitters as well.
Now plug in the video/audio cables you bought into your TV.
If you did this everything properly this should work.

Sorry if this didnt help you

No screen but sound works perefectly

There might be a problem with the AV cables (Audio Visual) or theres more then 1 port for the AV cables to go. If there's more then one AV station on the TV try switching to the other ones.

Av cable

Before plugging up any cables to your TV, look to make sure that you know the input number on the back of the tv if you have multiple inputs on your TV.

Make sure the video cable plugs into the video input on your tv, then the two audio cables, make sure they plug into the audio inputs on your tv and then make sure your tv is set to the right input and everything should be good, turn on the game system and enjoy.

I need to know how to run my ps3 thru the optical wire to my hdtv

Before you start ensure that you read the TV instruction manual to know which resolution supports it. Do not switch on the TV and your console

You can connect your Playstation 3 to your TV in three different methods:

  1. Connecting with an AV cable
  2. Connecting with an HDMI cable
  3. Connecting with an Optical Cable

Connecting with an AV Cable:

  1. You are supplied with a Composite AV cable which would typically look like the below image
  2. Connect the AV Multi Out Connector to the socket on the back of your PS3 Console.
  3. Match the colors of the Jacks with the connectors on the TV which says "Video in".

Connecting with an HDMI Cable:

HDMI cable is not supplied with the PS3. You need to purchase it seperately. This cable would enhance the audio-video quality of your TV.

  1. Just connect one end of the connector to the HDMI OUT connector socket on the back of the console
  2. Connect the other end to the socket on the back of your TV which says HDMI IN.

Connecting with an Optical cable:

You need to purchase an Optical cable if you wish to connect your PS3 console through a digital audio device (Home theater, AV receiver etc.,). You need to connect Video ouput seperately with a help of Video output cable (HDMI, AV Cable etc.,)

  1. Connect one end of the optical cable to "Audio Out" socket on the console
  2. Connect the other end to the audio receiver.

Note: You can also connect your console to the Internet to use the Playstation 3 internet capabilities. Here's how you do it:

The Playstation 3 only supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T type networks. It needs a High speed internet connection. Do not connect it to a standard telephone connection or cables that are not supported. It might cause a malfunction or damage to the system.
