Check the rotating contact (also known as the clock spring) under the steering wheel, this is the weak link in all airbag systems.

Hi i have just changed steering wheel on fiesta zetec 2003 for a ST150 2005 steering wheel will the air bags and connections be compatable with each other.

. Were did you check for codes ? an what are you checking with ? you need a factory scan tool to check for those type codes ? or the light flashes codes
Lamp Fault Code (LFC)
When the RCM detects a fault, it will cause the air bag indicator to flash a coded sequence called a LFC. The code is one digit. The digit is indicated by a number of flashes with a 0.5 second interval between pulses. There is a 5 second pause between each display of an LFC.
Each LFC is flashed five times after which the air bag indicator will remain lit as long as the key remains in the RUN position. If there are multiple LFCs, each LFC will flash in order of priority.
Each LFC has one or more associated DTC.
  1. Press TRIGGER. The RCM will run the On-Demand Self-Test and display On-Demand DTCs (reflecting hard system concerns) on the screen.

Air bag light and the diagnosis said: Right Curtain or Seat Squib Circuit Open.

Circuit open means either something has come unplugged or that you have a broken or open connection. I would start by looking at the seat belt pre-tensioner to see if it has become unplugged. If not you will have to start removing trim panels to get to the curtain connectors.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee - drivers side squib switch ( air bag system ) where is it?

the squib is the explosive charge inside the drivers airbag. It is not serviceable and is part of the airbag, however, the squib circuit includes the clockspring and wire harness and they are serviceable.
Check out this website. The purpose of this website and company is to help peoplediagnose and repair airbag problems themselves without taking them to thedealer (if possible). It offers all thephotos and data you need to understand your airbag system, read the codes andreset the light. It's a pay site, but itcertainly is worth the money ($14.95 for 1 day full access) There's a place to check if your car is listed on the homepage This is quite a complete website with pictures, descriptionsand factory fault code charts as well as a working demo that shows just howeasy these repairs can be. Although itdoes not give step by step instructions, there is enough information in thepictures and the "how-to" pages that most people can do itthemselves. Lots of insurance companies and body shops use this site forthe information they need to repair your car. Lastly, there's a page in this site that tells you whichcars need a scan tool and which ones can be done without one http://www.airbagsolutions.com http://www.airbagsolutions.com/vehicles_list.aspx http://www.airbagsolutions.com/demo.aspx http://www.airbagsolutions.com/scanlist.aspx

AIR BAG LIGHT AND CHIME RINGS PERIODICALLY

I have a 2002 jeep grand cherokee Limited and Had similar problem. Found out that a wire/connection harness had gotten cut under PASSENGER seat.from seats moving back and forth. It's part of the airbag system, it tells airbag system if seatbelt is fastened and if occupant is in seat. Since the wire is broken, it can't report back to air back system and activates the light. try this, hope it helps.

Air bag light

What sensors do they refer to? crash?, the most common cause of the light based on my expearience is the clock-spring contact under the steering wheel has an open circuit, the part is cheap, but is is a little hard to install since the steering wheel must come off.
