Question about Kodak EasyShare DX7630 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Kodak Easyshare DX7630

I was fixing my camera dial and while inside ruined my power link cable. After many searches and getting close I am unable to find a replacement store. Of course calling Kodak they claim they cannot replace this item and that I would need a new camera. My camera is in great condition and after looking at other devices as in DVD players, and other cameras all these items use the same power link cable and they come in various sizes so it only seems that I would be able to purchase a new one without someone lying to get me to purchase a new camera. Anyone know of any ideas????

The problem is most of the parts for this camera are no longer available from Kodak. You might try E-bay for the part.

My kodak easyshare dx7630 will not power on or I don't know how, can you please tell me how

I found instructions online here: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:YS5DhgIqJHEJ:resources.kodak.com/support/pdf/en/manuals/urg00230/DX7630_GLB_en.pdf+kodak+easyshare+dx7630&cd=4&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&source=www.google.com
It says the following: While pressing the Mode dial lock, turn the Mode dial from Off to Auto .
The Power ring glows green. The camera screen turns on. The Ready light blinks green while the camera performs a self-check, then turns off when the camera is ready.
To turn off the camera, turn the Mode dial to off.
Hope that helps.

My screen reads "camera error # E21"

On my LS 743 Kodak Camera, that error refers to a lens mechanism problem. I was able to fix it by removing my front cover which had be come dented inward and short circuited some wiring. Re-shaping the cover fixed the problem. This will probably void your warranty...
