When you reformat your computer you are basiclly deleting everything...from the Operating System (Windows ) to all your files and programs......there will be nothing on the hard drive when you are done.

To reformat simply insert the disc , and run through the Windows setup......below is a step bystep guide with pictures to make the process less confusing for you:

Make sure you back u peverything on your computer before doing this! if you have any personal pictures/music/files/e-mails you definitly want to save them to a cd or USB flash drive before starting this!

How do I delete all info from my SanDisk 2 gb flash drive . I have Toshiba Satellite CD655 laptop running Windows 7

If you are talking about a USB removable thumb drive. The fastest way would be to reformat it. THIS WILL WIPE OUT EVERYTHING ON THE DRIVE.

Insert the drive.

Right click on the drive in Windows Explorer and right click of the USB thumb drive. Select "Format". Format using exFAT (should be default), you can use NTFS to format if you so desire. You can check the current formatting by right clicking the USB drive and look at the properties.

You can also open the drive in Windows Explorer, select a single file/folder. Hold down the "Ctrl" key and press "a". This should select everything on the drive. Then hold down the ""Shift" key and press the "delete" key. THIS WILL ALSO WIPE OUT EVERYTHING ON THE DRIVE. There is no need to reformat after this operation,

For either of these methods, nothing will be put into the recycle bin (Waste Basket). THERE IS NO GOING BACK FROM EITHER OF THESE OPERATIONS, so be careful and take your time.

Is windows visa the same as windows internet explore v5.5

Windows vista is an operating system, which is the system on which your computer functions, including software, and software-hardware interaction. Internet explorer (whatever version you happen to be using) is an internet browser. Browsers allow you to view pages on the internet, but do not manage how other programs run.

So no, they are not the same.

Internet explorer gone need to reformat acer laptop

If you will go into ... all programs - accessories - system you will find a system restore feature. Click on it to run. Restore your computer to a date that predated the unfortunate deletion.

Let me know what happens ...

WIFi problems with my DELL XPS m1330

This has happened to me in a similar way; and mine was to where I had a connection, and yahoo messenger, itunes, other things would open; but when I would try to open internet explorer, it would hang, then look like it was opening, then go right to a cannot connect page. What I found out is that I had gotten some serious trojans/virus from a download. After everything that I could think of, ie system restore, redownloading IE 8, running antivirus and removing some of the trojans, and few other things, I failed, and so came to the conclusion that I had to just reformat the hard drive, wipe it clean, and then reinstall my operating system. After I did that, which was like 8 months ago, I haven't had one problem with connecting to any page. No problem at all. I hope this helps.
