There is no reset. Xerox never designed a supply reset for this machine.

If you installed a new one, either 1) you've got a bad one (get it replaced under warranty) 2)
the chip is not being read (due to drum maintenance camshaft cracked and out of position

After powering up the printer, press Menu, * key, # key (do not hold them, just press and release). You should see a secret menu, the first option being "Serial number". From there, I scrolled down to Network menu -> NVRAM reset to reset the network card. There also seems to be a Utilities menu which allows a full system reset.

Requires a service tech to come out, because having access to admin mean changing accounts ETC. don't know if that is what your trying to do so have tech come out.

I need to know my ip address for my sharp

ok... (I'm not a windows user but as far I can recall) assuming you are on a windows OS basically you could open the Control Panel > Printers and Fax. On the resulting dialog you would switch to the "advanced config" tab or something similar to see the network location of your printer" otherwise login into your router or access point's configuration web interface by entering 192.168.X.1 ( where X could be 0, 1, or 2 depending on your router) and then look for a "status" menu, probably there you can check all the currently connected clients in your network, usually the host or device name will show up next to the IP address.

Hope this Helps and solves your question.

How to delete password protected pront job in Sharp mx-2700N when password is lost? I can log in as admin (web-access to printer) but cannot delete the documents in Documenthandling. BR, Steven

Open web interface of the printer and supply admin password.
As an administrator you should be able to navigate to the System Settings screen.
Select Document Filing Settings and navigate to the section Administrator Authority Setting.
Select Delete so you can delete forgotten print jobs (remember to Save the setting).
Navigate on Document Operation where you can see a list of existing saved print jobs.
Select the jobs to delete and go on.
You don't have unwanted ghosts anymore on your machine!

Most important: always remeber to smile and to help people. Take care.

Hello i have copier machine sharp mx-450u,with mx-nbx3.some times when i print document.suddenley stop printing,so i turn it off then it start printing, allways same ****.so i dont know the proplem cause of...

As a general rule, U machines are not designed to be turned into network printers, that's what the MX-M450N is for. You can put an MX-NBX3 on it, it might work properly and it might not.

The NBX3 can only function properly with a hard drive in the copier, otherwise you're outta luck!!

Your driver type may be wrong. If you are currently using PCL6, try PCL5e.

Other than that, try getting a new driver from the Business Copiers section of sharpusa.com. You may have to see which model will work for you. Look for the PCL driver for MX-NBX3, then look for MX-M450U, then MX-M450N.

Add user codes to a sharp mx-4501n mpf

Try exploring the device's web management interface.
Use your wenb browser to connect to the device's IP address.
the default credentials for the unit are user: admin pasword: admin
if that does not work, try password: Sharp (note that the S is capital and the rest are lower case)

Cannot change network settings - Admin password unknown

Got in with random trialling passwords for the Administrator... finally found the default password for Administrator on the Sharp MX2300N was "admin". Should have known...

Got in, set up the IP's and away we go again. Did not have to go in with any maintenance mode or re-setting the whole system.

Change email address

You'll want to access the device webpage. Open web browser on your computer and type the IP address of the machine in the address bar. On the page that comes up to the left you should find admin mode. Type the user name and password, the default is

User name: admin
Password: Sharp

Case sensitive

Click the Destination link, find your name you want to change and click the edit button.

There is a checkbox to add that destination to the Frequently Used tab, if you uncheck that box it will remove you from that tab.
