Question about Fuji FinePix A600 Digital Camera
Some problems cannot be fixed, and I am afraid that if you cannot get the camera to go on with the on/off switch, then there is nothing I can even guess to do. That is because it could be a thousand things. Stating with the on/off switch, the battery connections, the battery interior connections, corrosion, water damage, acid damage from corrosion, burned out parts, broken chips from possible overload, damaged LCD, damaged and broken lens system, a shorted part or motor, and so on. These are only some of the problems I have discovered with the digital cameras I have tried to repair in the last few years.
One thing, if you are not afraid to damage the camera even more, should it not work, is to fold a towel and lay it on a table, then hold the camera (turned off) so that it will come down on it's corner. Don't be too hard, but do use a firm hit down. You may try a few other angles. What this may do, no promises, is that it may jog something inside to allow the camera to start.
If this does not work, then the camera needs repair, and may not be worth repairing. Repairing can cost $150.00 or more depending on what is needed.
