I have the later model (CVA 4070) and the setup is lightly different. I have not worked on your model however I think there are only two parts that need to be checked. 1. Steam Valve (located in door and part of the steam knob). This is the likely cause and the problem is that it's either dirty and can be disassembled and cleaned or it has worn parts inside that need to replaced. 2. Steam Solenoid (inside unit before steam heater). These generally block and thus result in lower pressure but perhaps this one is having trouble closing. If your technically minded I would disassemble steam valve in door and clean and inspect all parts then re-assemble. If this does not fix problem then replace any suspect parts in the steam valve. ie o-rings. Testing 2 is more complex. You could do this via the Service Mode. Please Note ... DO NOT WORK on this machine unless power plug is removed from mains socket. Regards
