My husband put a sub wolfer speaker next to our TV and it caused the color to distort. Is there anyway to demagnatize the TV to restore the color?

Usually leaving it off for a couple of hours or overnight, then switching on will auto-degauss it. Failing that it will need degaussing by a tv engineer.

remove the speakers away from the tv and you may use an ordinary screwdriver to demagnitize it put the screwdriver near the screen and move it up and down.turn the tv off for several minutes and then turn it on.
