Question about Panasonic Televison & Video

I have Pnasonic plasma T.V model TH-50PV30. It tends to switch off on its own. Some times it may go on for long time without doing it but at times it switches offin a few minutes , leaving the standby button flashing.

It may due to the ics getting heated up then its normal temprature.causing the tv to go off.try cold soldering on the main board which sometimes solves the problem, otherwise change the faulty ics

You can check the board where the components are mounted and resolder any that look bad. a brief power outages may cause the TV to turn off on its own. If you are using a surge protector, try connecting the set directly to the wall outlet.

In your case it could caused by a blown fuse, a leaky diodes or a bad solder joint at the horizontal drive transformer. All can be replaced at a local electronic or hardware store and they're easy to replace.

If this does not correct the problem, you may need to have your TV serviced.

It seems to be power problem in your tv .

You need to check whether the fuse is blown . If so you need to replace it .

Replacing fuse will work at sometimes .

How do you remove the stand from a panasonic TH-50PV30 50 inch type with 3 levvels of storage shelving. Thanks.

Never owned the this TV, but from what I can tell the outside edges on either side should have a series of screw holes. Even if you can't see the actual screws, there are philips head and there are in the bottom of those 4 or 6 holes. Take those out to get the TV off the stand.

Those may also be covers for a less complex connect to the spot where the additional speakers normal mount. Either way, remove still starts there.

Check the 2 main interconnection cables (24pin and 26pin) rear of PDP and Tuner box. Make sure they are firmly connected. (Loose connection of 24pin will cause no power on symptom.)
