Beko LF320 temperature dial numbered 1 to 10 which way is coldest?

We have a Beko LF320 refridgerator that came with our apartment and it has a dial numbered 1 to 10 to set the temperature. It's set at number 5 but keeps freezing our vegetables.  But which way to turn the dial to make the temperature slightly warmer? Is 10 coldest or hottest?  I don't want to freeze the contents of my fridge nor do I want to keep everything at a too warm temperature.

Yeah... I just love it when the dial reads 1-10, but it doesn't say whether 1 is coldest or 10 is coldest. It could work either way: 10 being the coldest OR warmest on a scale of 1-10. But which is it? You'd think 10 would be coldest, considering the fact that's what a refrigerator does: makes things cold. At the same time, "1" just sounds colder to me. It would be nice if the appliance at least gave you a hint.

Is the temperature "N" the coldest or "+ "the coldest?

N stands for normal. Usually normal is midrange while + is either colder (for more refrigeration) or warmer (for higher temperature). Check the end of the scale for the word , coldest. There will typically be arrows pointing toward colder/est as well. Best would be to move the dial just one (hopefully an) increment and come back 24 hours later and check for a decrease on the thermometer (yours or the reefers built-in one). If it moves the wrong way (assuming constant ambient temperature) try dialing the other direction. .

How do I make refridgerator colder....dial is one through 7... is # 1 coldest or #7

Hello,
1 is the warmest
7 is the coldest

one thing to check is the condenser coil in the bottom behind the grill below the door..remove that grill and clean all the dust from it

when setting the controls nothing happens quickly it takes up to 24 hours to achive the lower temp it was set at

We are not sure which way to turn the temp dial in our Whirlpool fridge which we inherited minus the manual. The model number is WRX57HWG6

Simple rule for the temperature setting: The bigger the number, the colder it gets.

5 (or the biggest number on the dial!) is the coldest
1 is the warmest

Welbuilt Refridgerator (old) - Which way is coldest - 0 or 6?

Most controls work with the highest number being the coldest. Keep in mind that once you adjust that setting you should allow 24 hr for the refrigerator to "equalize" to it new set temp. Hope this helps

The refrigerator temperature is too cold. Everything is freezing.

there is a dial that regulates your temperature, this is inside the refrigirator, look for it and should say cold to coldest, put it in cold or if it has number from 1-5 just put in 3

Defy Fridge temperature dial is confusing - which way is colder?

0 = off, 1 = cool, 2 = cooler, ..... 7 = coldest.  0 - 7 Nothing to do with the degree the fridge is set to.
