Adler Royal Power write typewriter

The automation paper insertion feature continues to feed the paper continuously until I turn the typewriter off. I have tried resetting the top of form several times but it still continues to feed the paper until it is shut off.

Its possible that the switch is sticking or there is a problem with the main board. no easy way to check this. should be looked at by a repairman.

I have a TA Adler-Royal 315. It operates beautifully, and hopefully will continue to do so (fingers crossed). Someone used it recently when I was away from the office and managed to get a label stuck to...

Try this thke a piece of heavy stock, like a file folder and force it thru the paper path while turning the platen. This may push the label thru or at least flatten it out.

I have an Adler 1020 with 7 kb memory. When I turn it on I get " SERVICE RAM TEST OKAY" . i can get no other response from the machine. How do I resolve?

The auto paper insertion switch is probably stuck/bad. It's activated when you pull the paper bail forward. Sometimes moving the bail to and fro firmly, several times will free it. It's located on the left rear of the platen, if you can get the cover off.

Depends on how thick. sometimes just pushing on the trailing edge will do it or else you can open the pressure rolls and insert it and then align it.

When the paper is inserted can you still see the cutting shafts turning....if not then take top cover off and most likely have damaged plastic gear in drive train.

Label stuck under typewriter platen/roller of Adler Royal

Roll a new piece of paper the best you can. Dribble a little paint thinner on the paper, letting it run down under the roller. The thinner will disolve the adhesive on the label. After a couple minutes, you should be able to roll out the paper and the laber with no problem.
