Trouble with my sim card help!!!!!

Hello I would like to introduce my self. My name is Kathy and I am trying to find out how to stop receiving this message on my phone ( inactive sim ) Please help soon as I am going in the hospital in two days and need my phone to work in order to remain in touch w/my son. Thanks for any help!!!

Inactive SIM means that you have had your service shut off. I would call Cingular to see why. BTW do you have a Cingular plan or are you still on an old ATT Wireless plan?

well i guess her sim is not faulty. i have the same problems... my phone always show "inactive sim" and shuts off itself.... my card works fine with other phone but not W910i why?

also, check your SIM's installation to see if its properly connected =]

Sounds like your service has been shut off for a while , you may need a new sim. If this is not the case thentake the card out wipe it off and put it back in and see.
