games ?, music... make sure your files are not wav or acc (mp3 only) internet...follow this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og0bgJCeC1k for set up...also here is the manual http://www.scribd.com/doc/4614820/cect-p168-english-manual make sure your settings are set correctly
You need to subscribe to GPRS with your Service Provider: unlike normal GSM voice services, the charge is based on DATA volume and normally you need to 'agree' to Pay extra for your DATA usage either on a fix quota or on a MB basis as GPRS service is relatively quite expensive. In any case, call your service provider help desk or consult their website for advise on how to enable the service... if you are a good customer, you can always ask for a 'free' trial for DATA. Hope it helps: let me know how you go.
All unlock phones, specially these CECT and Sciphone, are ready to be use with data from Chinas, you need to get the require information about your service provider GPRS set up and set up your phone manually.
the info is for cect phone p168, (but will work) this link will give you yahoo (sports, mail, weather) and cnn news http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=og0bgJCeC1k if you have data plan with tmo you will have a full internet service.if this help you feel free to rate have fun
Since CECT P168 is china mobile you have to get the internet settings done from your near service provider centre(vodafone mobile store if vodafone).
'gprs not subscribed': it specifies that you have gprs actviated on your sim but you dont have right internet settings on your mobile or china mobile.
so in order to get internet setting take your mobile to the nearest service provide centre(for eg; vodafone mobile store) they will make some internet settings on your mobile and from then you can use your internet, but make sure that you min balance in mobile to surf internet.....
in the case of branded mobiles(like nokia, samsung,......) it is just enough to send a msg from ur mobile and get internet settings on our mobiles but this is not in case of china mobile(you have to go the nearest centre and get it done.........)
look up tmobile on wiki and get all the internet settings from there and manually input them on your phone or you could play with tmobiles website and try to match your phone as best as you can and have the settings sent to you.
