Question about Canon PIXMA MP210 Photo All-In-One Printer
I tried to install my Canon Pixma MP210 printer today, but it wouldn't work. First of all, I did not find any protective material that looked like anything in the manual. I did find a long, flimsy piece of plastic marked "L", which I removed.
After that, I installed the cartridges according to the manual. Once I turned it on, the cartridge holder slammed itself into the left and right sides of the printer and displayed an "o" then an "E4" error. E4 means that the cartridges are incompatible, but that can't be true because I'm using the ones that came with the printer.
What could be wrong with my printer? Should I call Canon?
Is there by any chance a tabbed piece of tape over the face of where the ink cartridge connects to the print head?
