Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer

F05 error flashing on my duet washer

Two to three minutes into the wash cycle, it beeps and begins flashing F 05. Cancelled and restarted several times, unplugged overnight, reset breaker - none have worked.

"F05" is a Temperature Sensor Error. The following link explains:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r629462-f05_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

Since you've already attempted to reset the washer by leaving it unplugged over night, I'm assuming the problem is genuine and not just a glitch. More commonly, the heat sensor connector comes loose. The link explains how to check. I hope you find this information helpful. Let me know if you still require assistance.

My washer is giving me a code of F 05 right at the beginning of the cycle. The machine beeps, and the cycle stops. What is the problem?

"F05" is an NTC Heater Sensor error. The following link explains:

This error code may be attributed to a heat sensor that has come loose and may not necessarily be an indication of a failed component.

Starts cycle the about 3 minutes into it 05 then f starts flashing and beeping

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Whirlpool 'F05' decodes as 'NTC failure' - really helpful! NTC stands for Negative Temperature Coefficient (thermistor) or, in our language, it's the bit that measures the water temperature ;-0)
I have heard that pouring a few kettles of boiling water into the empty drum and leaving for 10 minutes can sometimes kick it back into life. It's worth a try anyway, otherwise it's a service call I'm afraid ;-0(
Sorry and good luck,
John C

Two of the baffles broke replaced them now getting a code f05 and washer beeps and wont finish wash cycle

https://secured.whirlpool.com/Service/.../Duet%20Job%20Aid.pdf
Above is your service manual, look in the area of the NTC sensor,it needs to be replaced, the service manual will show you how.

You need to replace the ntc sensor, most likely.

F/05 Water Temperature Sensor Error
If during the water heating step in wash cycle, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range, or the heating element circuit has failed, the "F/05" error code will be displayed.
  • Check the Water Temperature Sensor, Heating Element and Element Relay
  • Check connections to the Sensor, Heating Element and Relay

This error code indicates that the door is not locking.
Is the washer door firmly shut?
The door must be completely closed for the washer to operate. The door may look as if it's closed, but it may not be latched. Open the door and firmly close it.
Were you washing a large load?
Before you close the washer door, check for laundry items sticking out beyond the door opening. Leave enough space in the washer to allow the clothes to freely tumble. Reduce your load size if needed.
fl_doorseal.jpg To remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.
hcz_003_web_env1.gif

If Pause/Cancel does not work:
  1. Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
  2. Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other conditions above have been checked, call for service.

F-05 flashes

The following link expains the "F05" error code:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r629462-f05_error_code_whirlpool_duet_kenmore

Check to see if the connector is still plugged into the heat sensor, first. I have seen where the connector has come loose and caused this error code. If not, take the resistance readings as recommended. I hope this helps you.
