Aye have a 15mg is that fast 2 go online

15mg? I think you mean 15 Mega Bites?

If so, then no that's not too fast to go online. That is a common high speed, and you won't find many much higher for residential internet.

You should be fine for online and if you experience issues, especially with Call of Duty, it's usually the games server. You may also be in a difficult location to connect you to host in online games,. As well if you have tampered with the DNS on your Xbox this could also be a major problem for why online isn't working.

If you can't update gold, and you're a silver user I would suggest making the transaction over the computer or purchasing the Gold card from the store. If you do choose to do it on the xbox follow these steps, but first I would recommend to go to xbox.com/support

1. Go to Xbox Home and sign in
2. Go to the last panel on the very right
3. Select Account
4. Go to Your Membership
5. Select Xbox Live Free
6. Select Modify Membership to complete the transaction online or Redeem Code if you purchased one from a store
7. If you selected Modify Membership, Choose your subscription > Xbox Live Gold
8. Select your Membership
9, Provide your payment option and confirm purchase

I have just bought an 12 month xbox live membership and now want to update my account to an adult account will this cancel my membership?

The XBL Gold membership is attached to your Gamertag, as long as you don't change the Gamertag you are using (as in creating a new Gamertag and using that instead) you will still have XBOX Live Gold

I cannot sign into my xbox live, my fiance renewed his account already, and even though we are on the same console do i have to renew as well?

Yes you do. Xbox live accounts are processed by the individual user not the console. In order to play online you BOTH need a gold subscription. (or make a third gamertag and share that one for online play)

Xbox live wont work,,i cant get online, internet is

A couple possible solutions:
1. (this may be silly, but) Did you sign up for a Gold Membership? 2. If you were online before, has your membership expired? 3. If you were online before, were you complained about by other players? (enough complaints about you like language use or sportmanship can get your name and membership voided)

How do i get xbox live??

If u have a credit card. connect your xbox to your network and enter the marketplace. there you will find the signup for LIVE icon and go from there. no credit card. purchace a Live membership from Target, Gamestop, Toys R us etc....Connect to LIVE with your xbox and enter the unlock code located on your purchased LIVE card. hope this helps.

Signed up to xbox via online xbox, not console.

What you should try and do is set up a "guest" profile. I'm assuming you just bought your Xbox and have turned it on for the first time? Hence you need a gamertag to get your Xbox set up.
They simply need to have a profile on there so you can go to the dashboard. (Hence why people usually create their Xbox Live Gold accounts on their actual Xbox 360.
Forget for a moment, that you already have a gamertag. Create a new gamertag (you will automatically get a silver account) once you get to the dashboard, you will be able to go to profiles and the very last option and select "recover gamertag" because at the moment, your gamertag isn't on your actual console yet. Put in the details of your gamertag, password, email etc. And accept the terms & use then recover the gamertag.
I'm not sure, but you may be able to recover your gamertag the very first time you turn on your Xbox (which is what you may be having trouble with). If you could, let me know some more of the details and I could give you a more specific answer.
Otherwise:
1. Recover gamertag

or

1. Create a new gamertag (NOT gold, NOT on Xbox.com)
2. Recover gamertag through profiles --> recover gamertag

Hope I was of some help.
