Question about Pioneer DVR-530H-S DVD Player/HDD Recorder
The remote control has no effect on the recorder, there is a P on the recorder display.
No button on the remote control has any effect on the recorder, like there is no battery in it.
I changed the battery's for new ones.
My email adres is email@example.com please help.
You said that you have changed the batteries.
While you're checking the batteries, make sure that the contacts for the batteries aren't corroded or bent. You can clean them with a pencil eraser followed by a nail file. If necessary, gently bend them back to their correct position.
Try these too,
Either the remote or the receptor on the device is not functioning.
1. Use an Infrared Sensor Card to see if the remote is sending a signal.
2. If the remote is sending a signal, it used to control that device, and no other solution works, you should have a service center look at the device and remote to determine the problem and if it can be fixed.
