Question about Astar LTV-3001 Television
My problem is when I turn on the tv the picture and sound are distorted. Usually this is in the form of 4 tiles of the picture -- one in each corner. There is usually a lime green or magenta tint on the pictures, which are not clear. Alternatively when I turn on the set it will display part of the Astar label and move from top to bottom and gradually reveal more of the logo before flipping to a black, sometimes snowy, screen. Whn these issues happen, sometimes the sound is fine and sometimes it lags and still has sound for a few seconds after I turn the power off. these issues are the same regardless of the input setting the tv is set to.
For about a week, I resolved the issue by turning the tv off and on again (with the remote). Now it takes even more "offs and ons" and the number of times turning it off and on grows -- it currently takes about 5 sequences to have the picture displayed correctly. When it does appear correctly, the tv works perfectly for an extrended period of time.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
