Re: G600 memory card not working
If you are using the PC suite try doing it this way. First start the PC suite up then set your phones USB settings to mass storage device then connect it up to the PC suite. I used to have the same problem of crashing or not recognizing the phone until I done it this way round. Good luck.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

To download click on the sofware tab, select your OS to download & install the "PC Studio" for your system. Plug in the USB G600 to PC and you should be able to view your data in the Windows Explorer and your can copy and paste the files/data from the phone to your PC.
Have you loaded in your pcstudio3 software that came with the phone?? (You don't need to,, but it allows you to edit your phone numbers/texts etc...)
USING THE USB CABLE THAT CAME WITH YOUR PHONE> Easiest way is to go into your settings, then go into your usb settings, select "Mass storage" which will allow your pc to see the phone as an external drive (Probably "G Drive") from there you just drag and drop the files you want into the correct folder... (this will load it onto your memory card). -------OR------IF nothing happens: Try to reinstall the software on your PC as it might be corrupted or it may be possible there your data cable is faulty and can not have a proper connection and if there problem still persists I should suggest you that then dont try to do any thing of your own and go to the service centre and ask them as they can guide you better. Hope it helped you!
Ensure that your photos are on the memory card of the phone(not the internal memory). Take out memory card and put in sd adaptor. Slot this into sd card slot on your pc and open it up as a drive. You can then copy your photos onto your pc.
If the card is inserted correctly and its not damaged, then the memory card should show up under media manager, you need to put the files onto the memory card not on the phone...
When you first insert the card into the phone, you need to format the card, some phones create specific folders for different things when they format, e,g images, Videos, etc. You may need to do this.
I cant remember if this phone had this option but try it anyway as if it works, it should be faster than using Samsung PC Studio... Close Samsung PC Studio Unplug USB out of the Phone and a couple of seconds later plug it back in, see if the phone asks you for Mass Storage mode... If it does select that, after a while the Memory Card should show up on your PC just like a USB memory stick you can drag and drop files to it and its faster than going through Samsung PC Studio :)

i had same problem.the only way ive been able to upload my photos was to store them all to the memory card, and then insert memory card into a usb micro sd 2.0 adapter, then plug that into my computer. it then brings up the "save to file" option. isaved them all, then i could upload them to my facebook albums etc, by using the browse files option. hope this helps you.
got same phone - recently having probs to download photos using software, but worked out the memory card: its the tine one which you put into bottom right hand side of ur phone..you can save ur photos onto that - then take card out, put into the micro SD Adapter that came with ur pack, and put that into cardreader - and that works for me to download photos.
The Samsung software does not work properly with the G600 (take note Samsung) On your phone go to: Settings>phone settings>USB settings>Ask on connection. exit phone and when you plug in your usb it will ask what connection type, choose Mass Storage and it will appear on My Computer as a portable drive, you can drag and drop to folders. You may have to install the USB drivers from the disc or site, but it may work without.
What you have to do to put files on your computer or take them from your computer onto your phone is: go onto settings, onto phone settings, onto USB settings and chage it to either mass storage (if you want to put pictures, music and videos on) or media player (to just transfer music). Then plug in the USB cable that came with your phone into your computer/laptop and follow the instructions from there. NOTE: This only works with the Sampsung G600
