Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

I have recently typed a letter on word processor to a pal - the text contained my email address. On printing the letter, the email address did not type because it was 'blue' Is this a fault of my printer?

Problem with Login. I forgot the password and cannot login.

Despite the care you took in choosing a password that was both memorable and secure, you forgot it.

Now what? No need to panic: Yahoo provides a simple three-step process that will allow you to reset your password and choose a new one even if you don't have an alternate email address.

Click on the "I can't access my account" link found under the Sign In button on the Yahoo login page.


Ensure that the first option in the list, "I forgot my password," is selected.

Click "Next."


Enter your Yahoo ID and the shown verification code in their respective boxes.

Click "Next."


Enter the alternate email address you provided when you registered with Yahoo in the text box, then click "Next."

How to write letter verifing address


Instructions
    • 1Before you begin, set your marginicon1.png 1 inch from the top, 1 inch from the bottom, and 1.25 inches on both sides.
    • 2If you're using letterhead, there's no need to type in your name and address. If you're using plain white paper, type in your name, address and phone number (phone number is optional), centering the text. Make the font in this portion of the letter slightly larger than the rest of the text. You should also type your name, address and phone number in boldicon1.png type.

Cannot send email, comes back with 'the following recipients are invalid'. How do I fix this?


Instead of typing in the recipients email address, enter that address in your contacts lists. Then when u go to enter the address, click on 'contacts' and then click the recipients address. Make sure you have the address entered correctly. Dont use capital letters if the address doesnt contain them. And no spaces either!

Some one have used my email address to send advertisement to me, how can this happen and how to fixe this.


First, change the password on your email address. something "strong"...use capital and lowercase letters and numbers (XxX123ZzZ)

It sounds like someone signed up for a website/service that sends advertisements to your email address. The advertisements probably have the name of the site sending them. You might be able to go to that site and discontinue your account there.
You can also block future advertisements using filters (assuming all the advertisements have something in common...who sent it, subject, etc)
In the upper-right corner of your Yahoo! Mail page, click the Options link, then select Mail Options from the menu.
On the left side of the page, click the Filters link.
On the top of the Filters page, click the Add Filter button.
A page appears where you can define the rule and the destination for the new filter.
Type a unique name for the new filter in the Filter Name box, such as "advertisements"
Define one or more rules for the filter.
  • From header-Who sent the message.
  • To/CC header-Who the message is addressed to.
  • Subject-The subject text.
  • Body-The message or body text.
From the Move to Folder pull-down list, choose the destination folder where you want the message to go (probably SPAM)
  • Contains-the area must contain the target text. For example, the target text "Chris" would match all the following: "School project on Christopher Columbus," "I forgot to call Chris," "chris9441@yahoo.com."
  • Does not contain-the area must not contain the target text. (This is a negative condition.) For example, the target text "Chris" would match any area that does not contain "Chris."
  • Begins with-the area must contain the target text at the beginning. For example, the target string "Chris" would match "chris9441@yahoo.com," but not "School project on Christopher Columbus" or "I forgot to call Chris."
  • Ends with-the area must contain the target text at the end. For example, the target string "Chris" would match "I forgot to call Chris," but not "chris9441@yahoo.com" or "School project on Christopher Columbus."
Click the Save Changes button to save the filter.

In the worst case you can just get a new email address and tell your contacts about it.

When I print a message from outlook express, the first letters on the left margin are cut off. I am using standard letter size paper. I have exhausted the remedies suggested by Help. This problem only...


When you print a email. do it from file - print, check the page range, make sure all is checked, look into the preferences make sure the right size of paper is set. It must be a setting in outlook.
