Flip open the phone so the keypad is exposed and press any button to wake the phone up from sleep mode.

Enter the four digit unlock code using the phone's keypad. The default code is the last four digits of your cell phone number.

Press the "OK" button to submit the code and unlock the phone.
Forgotten Code

Turn the phone over and remove the battery cover and battery. Press down on the upper plastic edge
of the cover and slide it in a downwards motion. The plastic cover will
give way to the battery which can be pulled out of the phone.

Locate the sticker on the phone hidden behind the battery. Write down the last four digits of the ESN DEC number.

Replace the battery and battery cover and turn the phone on by pressing and holding down the "Power" button.

Flip open the phone so the keypad is exposed.

Enter the last four digits of the ESN DEC number. Press the "OK" button to submit the code and unlock the phone.
Power the phone on and select the "OK" button. This will trigger the phone to ask for the password.

Press "OK." Sometimes this is simply all it requires. If not, move on.

Enter the last four digits of the phone's number. If this doesn't work, continue to the next step.

Enter "#4357" or "*4357." "4357"
stands for "LOCK" on a traditional telephone's alphabetic keypad
translation. This is the default unlock code for certain LG telephones.
