The phone could need reflashing or the lcd may need changing or the flex cables

Take out your memory card and then open your phone again the white screen usually appears when memory is full

Try to toggle airplane mode off and then on. Then try sending a message to yourself just to see if you can receive it. There are many factors that include network congestion, sim card failure, and phone failure that might affect why you can't receive messages.

Your Firmware is going damge due to break installation or what ever. but solution is that you attached your device with computer and upgrade software via NOKIA PC Suit. but remember don't break usb cable and power off pc during upgrading or installation on your handset.

if when you start the phone you hear the nokia sound it my be the software faulty, but in rare cases, other two posibilities is either lcd either the connector between main board and lcd and the third is some spots of water on you phone

what good advise that i can give you is to bring the phone & the charger to your nearest network service store to have it check. if it's a charger problem you need to buy a new because it is not covered by your insurace if you have one. even if you call the customer service they will give you the same advise so better yet heed my advice... :)
