How to reformat Nokia 5220 Xpress Music?

Hi,
sometimes will cannot format your memory card,if any of the files present in your memory card is opened by your phone and in use. Also be aware of the fact that if you format your memory card, not only the data present in it will be wiped out but also the mobile softwares/applications installed onto your memory card.
If you couldn't format from your mobile, remove it, put it into a suitable adator, insert into the memory card reader, connect to your PC and format it. Simple...

I bought a new mico sd card for my nokia 6233 bu it keeps sayin memory card not formatted hw cani format it

Dear

There Are two ways to format sd card
1) by Phone : Go to Memory card option
Gallery - memory card - option - format
& ur card will be formatted

2) By pc : connect ur phone to pc or sd card reader & right click on removable disk which is your sd card's slot & select format option.
Then it will ask for custom & quick format, select one from them & ur card will be formatted

Thanks & regards
