How can i connect my wii thru my wireless?

My is on wifi but I dont get it in every room dont think you can....

Well what you need is the name of your wireless internet, the password for it[if you have one set up]. What you would do is head to the options of the Wii. In the options you need to find the button that says internet. The you must pick wireless for the internet, scan for the name of your wireless internet, and put in the password if you have it. Then it should run a test, if you did it right, it'll connect and you should have internet again.

If your WEP or WPA key is correct, then the problem might be related to MAC address filtering: From the router settings, locate the "MAC address filter" settings (also known as "access control", "access list", or "network filter" depending on your router model). If the Mac address filter is set to "enabled", then you must add the Wii's MAC address to the "allowed" list. You can locate the Wii's MAC address from the "console information" page (located under "Internet" in the Wii Settings). If the Mac address filter was disabled, then continue troubleshooting.

Try a "Manual Setup" with the Wii console (how to), using your network's IP configuration settings. To access these settings: On your PC, click "Start" and then "Run." Locate the settings asked for by the Wii console during the Manual Setup process and enter them.

Power cycle your router and modem by unplugging them both from the wall. Wait a few minutes, and plug the modem back in. Wait a couple of minutes for the modem to initialize, then turn on the router. well that basicle means that you cant play your wii because your wii motes cant register to the wii. wii sensor bars are pretty cheap and if you dont want the hassle of wires everywhere then you can just get a wireless sensor bars that are pretty pricy but not too bad. the downside of a wireless sensor bar is that the connection isnt that great and it drains battery life life CRAZY.

1. Turn of wireless security in the router, see if you can get the Wii to work UNSECURE.
2. If the Wii, connects with security turned off, then enable security on the router (WPA is recommended) and a 10 digit key (I use an onld phone number from my childhood)
3. Go back to internet settings on the Wii, select the wireless configuration you were using, click advanced, and enter the WPA key.
4. Test connection Wii should work

A Wii has a macc address just like any other networked element. Do you have mac-address filtering turned on? If so, you may have forgotten to enter your Wii mac address in the list.
