Question about Sony UP DR100 Thermal Photo Printer
I put a partially used ribbon in along with a partially used roll of paper. The UP-DR100 doesn't seem to have a problem with the ribbon but the display keeps saying Paper End. I've put the paper in just like the manual says but still no luck. Is there something on the start of a new roll that would clear this message? Unfortunately I don't have a new roll to try. The display also says Paper=0 when I push the menu buttons but I don't see a way of changing this.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Yes I did find a solution but why should I tell you so you can turn around and charge someone else that may be having the same problem? It looks to me like any assistance from you would have cost me. Thanks for nothing.

Happend twice to me. What sometimes happens is that the paper roll was not changed at the time the ink was. Therefore the paper roll was allowed to remain in the printer until the very last sheet. On the last sheet there is a sticker that says paper out. (stupid idea) This sticker makes the last sheet of paper too thick to fit through the last paper guide / feed. Because of this, the ink film breaks and that specific error message is displayed until that last piece of 4x6 is pulled from the paper feed. Clear that out, and all is good.. Change the paper every time u change the ink.
