Unfortunately if you have tried a different machine (it could be a bad video card) and tried the cables most likely it is the screen itself. Typically when one of these lcd's begin to fail the pixles no longer access the blue field and you see mostly red instead of the other two colors. In short pink screen is terminal, it will last for a while longer.

Check your connections on both ends. You have a loose cable. Make sure that you screw it in on both ends snugly to prevent it from moving around. Good luck!!

Would you be so kind as to rate my answer? I took the time to help you. Could you do the same? Thanks.

Why only a "Thanks for trying"? What ended up being the problem?

SOURCE: Pink tint on Dell 1704FPT Flatpanel LCD

The monitor is broken. The circuits that generate green in the RGB setup are not working. If its under warranty, replace it.

Check the cable going into the back of your monitor and the cable from your monitor into your computer, one of them is most likely loose.

My acer al1715 has a pink tint. It started

This is a low-end monitor and the image processor is failing. You will require a replacement but since the monitor is low-cost, it is cheaper to simply by a new one.

Laptop LCD goes black after a few seconds

Hello,

Yes, The pink tint is an indication that the backlight is failing. Now the backlight is basically dead, the best way to get back going is to do an Ebay search for your model laptop and get a new screen. Most screens can be purchased for around $50.00 - $70.00 and they are very easy to swap. Email me if you need more info.

My monitor has a pinkish tint to it. I've tried adjusting the settings and turning down the red but it is still pink. Any suggestions?

Anything magnetic close to the monitor can cause this happen. Make sure there is no magnetic interference.

The screen is pink tinted

A pink (or any tinted) screen is usually an indicator of one of two things:
1. The cable going from the video card to the monitor is loose. Try adjusting the cable and see if the picture changes. Put pressure in all directions slowly to see if it clears up. If it does, you should change your monitor cable.
2. One or more of your CRT "guns" or "rays" is malfunctioning, causing the red gun to be too strong, or causing the green or blue to be too weak. This is difficult to fix... time for a new monitor. Sometimes you can get a little more life out if by smacking the monitor on the side.

Dell E193Fp Blue Screen

It can be due to the effect of some kind of magnetic effect.. If your monitor has the degauss feature then degauss it ONCE and see if returns to normal. Do not use degauss feature more than once in less than half an hour. It can damage your monitor.

Dell Flatpanel turns on and off repeatedly

Yeah, try plugging the unit into another computer to see if it's doing the same thing. That will help you to determine if it's the monitor or the video card. Next, see if replacing either the power cable or video cable (I'm assuming you're using the analog and not the digital connection, here...) to see if it might be a pin that's loose, dropping the signal strength enough to lose the feed.
