Question about ViewSonic Computers & Internet
I have intermitent off/on video the screen was black and restart.
I found this problem is origined by spark gaps s671 and s371.
Wich is the function of theys? Is for prevent an over voltage?
And wich is the origin of the problem if i think is an over voltage?
If it is can i go down it? perhaps at some regulator on flyback?
or adding a resistor in order to low the exitation perhaps at base on tr driving the HT ?
Thankfully for your answers in advance
PD: I found a lot of ViewSsonic different models with the same problem.
1.Remove all spark gapecapacitors at RGB cathodes and G2, G1 cathodes.
2. Remove G2 pf (G2 cathode to Ground).
3.check video section any dry points.
4. Replace boosting FET (power supply output to LOT supply)
