Question about Cameras

When I put a memory card in my camera, a Sanyo 7.1 Mega Pixel camera from WalMart, it shows the icon for no memory card in. I can take the card out and it works just fine in another camera.

Hi

What model camera do you have and what size memory card are you using? It's very possible that the memory card is too large for the camera to support, for example my Canon G9 can't use the 4GB card that I have for my Nikon D50 SLR.

Without more information it's hard to pinpoint the solution, sorry, but I hope this helps.

Plz check if the card is compatible with the camera....then just try to use it....and sometimes cards need to be formatted before being used on another camera.....just try this....

I don't have your camera, and don't know what kind of memory card you have, but many memory cards have a "lock" switch right on the card, easy to flick by accident.

Exilim camera memory full when few pictures taken

Have you fitted a memory card?
The camera will only take a few photos using its own memory.
It takes: SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card , SDXC Memory Cards.
If you have fitted a memory card it may be faulty and you will need to buy another.

I can not delete any photos on my sanyo 8.1 mega pixel camera. It says card is locked.

SD cards have a write protect switch. Turn the camera off, eject the card, ensure that the lock tab is in the up position as shown in the attached image.

The following require the write protect switch to be in the unlocked position.
IF that doesn't work, put the card in a card reader attached to a PC and delete the files as you would from any folder.
OR
go to your camera's menu to format the card.

My camera and memory card aren't holding very many pics

need more info but usually ir means the memory is full . or the memory card is corrupt. i suggest saving all the pics to your computer then try reformatting the memory card. you can usually do this from the camera itself. you will have to go thru the cameras menu and pick delete all pics and format card.
also check what pixel setting you are using. the higer the pixel setting the lass pics the memory will hold.
however lowering the pixel rating also reduce the quality of the pictures. hope this helps .

Sony cyber shot 7.2 Carl Zeiss transfer pics on memory card

No.
Take the memory stick out of the camera then connect to the computer. You can then transfer the pictures from the camera to the computer.
Alternatively, use the camera's copy command to copy the pictures from the internal memory to the memory stick.

Vivatar 7500 digital camera How many frames per megapixelcan i get on my camera

Hey fredabel,
The number of frames you get on your camera is per Mega pixel. Mega pixel is the resolution of your images and the higher the resolution the more memory your image will take. Your camera comes with a maximum resolution of 7 megapixels which on average takes 4.4mb of memory. Your camera has 32mb of internal memory, but can and should be upgraded with a memory card which you can get with many different storage capacity's. With just the internal memory and your camera set to maximum resolution you would get 7.3 images.
Sincerely,
Allan
