Get a new drive large enough to copy your data, Install operating sys on to new drive. Slave out your old drive. It may or may not see the old drive. If it does, you are very lucky. Now copy everything to the new drive as fast as you can, because you may only get 1 chance. If you are rich you can send it to a data recovery service and they can retrieve your data if it is that important to you.

You can also hook it up to an external bay sata enclosure that hooks up with a USB. You can keep plugging it in and maybe it will finally read long enough for you to copy things.

I have the 45175A model looks very much like the one pictured here. Mine is just 4 months old by this date (01/17/2011) The compressor just hums like the motor is froze up?? is this serious?

2 things to check, first, empty the air out and try running it, mine will not run or start when 1/2 full, too much back pressure, 2, mine will not run at all when cold, needs to be warmed up, we had a room on the job set up for the compressors to keep warm, I thought it was just mine, it was every-bodies. Check it out, Oh and 3, make sure you have enough power, If I can' t get 16 amps, it won't run, just hums, then kliks off. Don't use a cord if you can help it, if you do, make sure it is heavy wire.

Installation of wired doorbell

yes it is very simple. All you have to do is connect either the two red wires together or the two black wires together and put the other remaining two on the doorbell chime to the common and front terminals. Here is how it works. One red wire leaves the transformer. It connects to the other red wire going to the pushbutton. When you press the button the voltage comes back to the bell on the black. You have the other black from the transformer on the bell so that completes the circuit. The only reason I say to put either the two blacks or two reds together is that way you're sure to have one wire from the transformer and one from the doorbell. Not a 'pair" of wires from each. 5ec779c.jpg

Can you check and see if there is a GFIC in line somewhere tripped.
It sounds like a ground fault receptacle has tripped somewhere in the circuit.

FLYWHEEL REMOVAL

You need a flywheel puller tool. You can rent them at most auto parts stores for a few dollars a day. Be advised that flywheels can be very hard to remove, and can come off suddenly and violently when using a puller, keep your face away.

I have power to 3/w switch, and 3wire cable that goes thru 4 lights to a 3/w switch. Can I wire all 4 lights to come on and off with the two 3/w switches ? If so how?

Yes, you can. Since you have power at the one 3-way switch already. Use two of the three wires to go DIRECTLY through to the other 3-way switch. Make sure NOT to connect these wires to anything other than to the 3-way switch. Now, you have power at the one 3-way switch - and the two wires (called travelers, jockeys, etc.) going directly over to the other 3-way switch. You already have your neutral at your lights, so that's taken care of. Now, wire each of the four lights together - and take your remaining wire down (connect it) to the (powerless) 3-way switch where you just brought the two travelers/jockey wires to. Land this on the colored/odd screw on the 3-way switch. Now, the 3-wire cable that came from the 3-way switch that had power to it already...has a remaining wire that you will cap. You used the two wires to go directly over to the other 3-way switch - and now, that third wire can just be capped (or taped off). So basically, you have power at one 3-way switch. You have two wires going directly to the other 3-way switch. And from this switch, you have a wire going to your lights. The neutrals are connected together between the four lights (which I'm presuming have already been connected back to a neutral source, or your electrical panel). I hope this helps. If not, please contact me again. Good Luck, and I wish you well.  - Jim
