Then it depend on the power pack u are using and i dont kjnow if it could be understood by you the
way i will explain it either you open your caasing and bring the motherboard out or with it there in your casing after plugging all neccessary hardware then u use a mettalic object like Screwdriver to touch the CMOS battery or the area of the Jumper and then it bring out the light and u do what u want to do on your system.ok

Please help me for my toshiba laptop versapro VA10H driversbecuase my drivers are out of date so far...it result very slow function...so please help me!!!

If you think it is your drivers go to the Toshiba Website and download the updates. I doubt this is the problem though. Try emptying you History files, Deleting Cookies and making sure you don't have a virus. Additionally, you can try to increase your RAM and Virtual Memory to get the machine to run a little faster.

I have bought a Toshiba 'Satelite

It is probably a PDF file, so you must have adobe reader installed.

There may be a icon to do this on the desktop.

if not you can down load one from adobe, com

I need to know what the F keys do and to identify the ports on the Toshiba satellite P305 laptop. Bought this in Sept and there was no users manual or anything with it. Can you advise?

would you be interested in downlading a manual. this would probably be the easiest way to solve this but im not really sure what you are asking about the F keys but you use certain Fkeys in conjunction with the Fn (function) key on the bottom of the keyboard. Not sure but if you are asking about the ports on the outside of the computer this link should help.

Just choose your model number and click the go button. When the next page loads click on the users guide button on the silver bar and this will give you a look at the users guide. There is also a Printer-Friendly version

My laptop will not load up it is charging and the power light is on but there is just a blank scrren please help my i just bought it

Can you hear it doing various thinks, ie the hard drive light activity, whilst the screen is blank?
I am thinking that the button the change the screen to the TV or scart socket has bee pressed which means you can choose between the laptop screen and tv screen or an external monitor.

Usually actived unsing combine "function" and "CRT/LCD" buttons (or similar names).

We are tring to connect to a wireless internet connection and we cant. it says we need to turn on the wireless networking radio? how do we do that? we have a toshiba satellite laptop. thanks

There should be a wireless button or switch on the perimeter of the laptop. Either this or a function key on your keyboard that you need to depress while clicking another key that has a wireless picture icon on it.

If you hit the right switch you should get some kind of notification either on the display or with the enabling of a new wireless light on the laptop.

Wireless switch

Make sure you have the latest drivers, router and NB.

Does it connect on reboot with the SSID off?

Does it work on repair?

if so, check your energy settings, some times they power down the wireless to save energy. There are also settings on how it behaves.
