Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I recently put a gts 8800 video card in my computer and now when I try and play the video on my adobe premier pro it does not play. If I play any video from my harddrives on media player, the video plays fine but when imported to adobe and placed on the timeline, it does not play. It can be seen in the moniter but will not move. I am able to manualy drag the key on the timeline and the monitor sees what is being dragged through, so the video is there. It just wont play. This problem occured when I first Installed the new video card. I opened a new project and imported some video but the same problem occured. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the program? Does the adobe software need to be re-set up for this Video Card?

No audio in Adobe Premiere Pro cs6 when using panasonic HDC-SD40

But I think you can try to convert your video clip to other format to have a try, if the converted video is fine when you imported into Adobe Premiere that is to say your original video format is not good for the software. You can get a video converter to have free try to do this.

I have Matrox RTX100 card when i run premier error message appear

There are occasions you find yourself facing DVDs as source videos for a project or need to do some "operation" on DVD with Adobe Premiere Pro. Whether it's for a wedding video, a sport highlight film, a video game demo, or some other project, more and more people have their video footage on DVDs (only) these days. Obviously this is not a wise move for editing - the video file has already been compressed, so you've already lost quality to begin with. But the fact is that you have to work with what you've got.

There are many problems would arise when importing and editing DVD to Adobe Premiere Pro, I just listed some of them here below, just check them out, if you happen to fall into one of their situation, then just read patiently, you will find an answer at the end

Well if you installed the correct drivers for your video card and have the proper power supply requirements, then the vertical lines you're getting most likely indicate that your video card is bad.

Try it in another computer if available, or get another video card.
