check your device manager if there s any yellow question mar or exclamation point and check the desription of that device. If no question mark it means that you dont have any device driver needed to be installed, there might be a specific bluetooth device that is added on your Bluetoooth Devices that is not on. Go to bluetooth devices then remove it ffrom the list,

Have a look at the label on the bottom of the V3000 laptop and check the voltage and amps power rating of the laptop.
If the DV9000 adapter has the same voltage and current rating (amps) or higher amp rating then it is suitable for the V3000 laptop, provided the power plug fits the V3000 power socket.
if its in built insert the driver cd that came with your cd, open the cd through my computer, brows through the cd and u will find wireless console or bluetooth then install. if its an extanal bluetooth, it must have come with an installation cd if not, go and ask for one thanks. dont 4get 2 vote me thanks
If you are using the Preinstalled version of Windows using the Recovery Disks or Recovery partition, you should be having the Bluetooth drivers.
